GPVEC Scholarly Service

The GPVEC provides scholarly service to the Roman L. Hruska U.S. Meat Animal Research Center (MARC), the third cooperating institution in the Cooperative Agreement. The GPVEC faculty members provide veterinary care to MARC animals in conjunction with the MARC Herd Health Veterinarian and cooperate with MARC scientists in research projects.

The GPVEC faculty also serve as regional and national resources to practicing veterinarians and their clients, cooperative extension, academia, and industry personnel in their areas of expertise. These areas of expertise include: cow-calf, feedlot production, integrated resource management, food safety, quality assurance, epidemiology, immunology, economics, nutrition, and animal care.
